For our Client located in Germany, we are looking for Candidates for the position of:
Mechanic (aerospace)
Duties:
- Repairs and maintains assigned equipment.
- Performs routine and extended maintenance on Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) units.
- Inspects, repairs, and maintains assigned support equipment, using the applicable maintenance instructions and related technical data.
- Performs corrective maintenance on all SE and AGE equipment.
- Monitors bench stock items and requests items as needed.
- Detects and treats corrosion on assigned SE and AGE.
- Enters required data on maintenance forms manual or automated.
- Changes oil and lubricates units on a scheduled basis.
- Files work sheets for maintenance accomplished on all units with department manager.
- Maintains hand and power toolsin accordance with applicable directives.
- Performs emergency maintenance as required outside normal duty hours.
Requirements:
- Educational background: high school diploma or equivalent.
- Trade school certification or equivalent military experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in powered AGE/vehicle maintenance is required.
- Knowledge of AGE equipment repairs, troubleshooting of systems, sub-systems and associated equipment, and applicable publications.
- Experience in air-conditioning system repair is desired.
- Forklift experience desired.
- Minimum communicative knowledge of English: speaking, reading and writing (comprehend technical data is required).
- Must be a EU resident and authorized to work in Germany.
