Azure DevOps Automation Engineer

Currently, for our client, a multinational information technology company that provides business consulting, information technology, and outsourcing services, we are looking for an Cloud Azure DevOps Engineer.

Your responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Provisioning: Designing and deploying Azure infrastructure components, such as virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and load balancers, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform.
• Continuous Integration and Deployment: Implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (previously known as Visual Studio Team Services or VSTS) to automate application deployments, code builds, and release management processes.
• Configuration Management: Managing and maintaining configuration management tools, such as Ansible or PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC), to ensure consistent and efficient configuration of Azure resources.
• Monitoring and Logging: Setting up monitoring and alerting solutions like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics to track the health and performance of infrastructure components and applications.
• Security and Compliance: Implementing security best practices, identity and access management, and compliance standards to protect Azure resources and ensure data privacy.
• Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborating with development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and document infrastructure architecture and processes.

Requairements:

• 5 years of work experience with IT applications (system administration), IT infrastructures, services and Azure Cloud services via ARM templating.
• Good knowledge of DevOps tools in the field of software code releases (Azure DevOps). Think of development tooling (Git, Visual Studio).
• Knowledge and experience of multiple (scripting) languages such as PowerShell, C#.
• Agile mindset and scrum experience, experience in aligning backlogs with development teams.
• Owning Azure, Powershell and .NET certification is an advantage.
