Azure Database Engineer

Currently we are looking for our client who builds a global talent network, develops individual tech skills and connects businesses around the world with digital experts we are looking for a Azure Database Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure SQL database solutions based on business requirements, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schema for efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Monitor and maintain the performance of Azure SQL databases, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning techniques.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for Azure SQL databases through replication, failover mechanisms, and backup/restore strategies.
• Implement security measures and access controls to protect sensitive data stored in Azure SQL databases, adhering to industry best practices and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance problems, data integrity, and connectivity errors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure SQL databases with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and integration.
• Document configurations, procedures, and guidelines related to Azure SQL databases for reference and knowledge sharing.

Requairements:

• 4 + years of experience in using and writing SQL queries
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Azure SQL technologies are a plus.
• Proven experience working with Azure SQL databases, including Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, SQL query optimization, and performance tuning techniques.
• Proficiency in implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions for Azure SQL databases.
• Solid understanding of database security principles and experience implementing access controls, encryption, and auditing for Azure SQL databases.
• Knowledge of the English language that allows free business communication
• Ability to work in a team environment
• General knowledge of a combination of the following MSFT technologies preferred: SQL Server, Windows Server, Failover Clustering, Hyper-V, T-SQL
