We are looking for a QA Engineer with Ruby for our client from Telco industry, who wants to work from the comfort of home (100% remotely).
What will you do:
-Creating, maintaining and executing automated test cases
-Proactive driving improvements to quality assurance process
-One of your goals is eliminating manual testing and trivial activities by providing automation
-Daily monitoring of automated test results, reporting and tracking defects
-Design, development and execution of manual and automated tests for RESTful API micro-services
-Communicating about dependencies, risks and delays
-Working with technical and non-technical team members to ensure high quality is being implemented
-Close collaboration with development team to integrate quality in all they do
Is this your knowledge and experience?
- min. 3 year experience in QA Automation Engineer or similar role
- Practical knowledge of any programming language, preferably in scripting language area
- Knowledge of Ruby
- Ideas how to build Automation Test Framework
- Understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques and Built-In-Quality
- Practical knowledge of working with APIs
- Experience with Git
- Understands the operation of IT systems and how the communication between the application and the backend as well as external systems works
