Middleware Engineer (Mid/Senior)

Cyclad is an international consulting company operating in the IT/ICT sectors, providing outsourcing solutions for HR and IT services. For our client, British company specializing in remote technical support, we are looking for Middleware Engineers.

Project information:

  • Industry: IT services
  • Type of project: development & design of database strategies
  • Location: center of Poznań
  • Project language: English & Polish
  • Type of contract: employment contract
  • Remuneration: 12 000 (Mid)/17 000 (Senior) PLN gross (depending on the skillset)

Job specification:

  • Operation and design of server environments in the customer"s data center and consulting in the area of middleware and application platforms
  • Administration, design and implementation of Web applications based on one or more technologies (IIS, Apache, Apache Tomcat, WebSphere, Java, etc.)
  • Responsible for acquisition and performing tasks and activities in the technology lifecycle, as well as the consulting of the customer
  • Creation of complex concepts in enterprise environments
  • Software distribution on Windows / Linux client
  • Create and implementation of SSL certificates
  • Implementation of system test / compatibility test / creation of test scenarios
  • Call service

Requirements:

  • Experience in the analysis and solution of problems for IT infrastructure and applications
  • Ability and willingness to deal with new technologies and applications to familiarize and further dissemination of knowledge within the team
  • Very good knowledge of Windows Server technology and applications
  • Knowledge in the area of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, certificate management, and use of virtualization (VMware)
  • In-depth knowledge of the administration of services, roles, technologies, Windows / Linux Server and Active Directory
  • Experience in creating scripts with PowerShell
  • Very good English spoken and written, German would be a benefit
