Project information:
- Industry: Financial
- Location: next to Pole Mokotowskie
- Remote work: depending on the skill, 1-2 days a week
- Project language: English
- Type of contract: B2B/employment contract
- Remuneration: 12 000- 18 000 net +VAT
- Setup detailed monitoring infrastructure for multiple MS SQL Server databases
- Maintain high performance of MS SQL Server databases
- Constantly look for optimisation opportunities and put them in place
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks and risk
- Provide reports on performed actions in a way allowing to measure progress
- Have in-depth experience in supporting SQL Server versions 2008 R2 / 2012 / 2014 and 2016/17
- Expert knowledge and skills with database backups, restores and maintenance activities against large databases.
- Ability to optimise SQL Server Instances based on best configurations.
- Extensive experience of Troubleshooting and resolving database related issues.
- Experienced with and Supported SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery implementations that include Failover Cluster Instances, Availability Groups, Database Mirroring, Replication and Log Shipping.
- Extensive and advanced knowledge of scripting with T-SQL
- Develop PowerShell scripts for database related activities and automation.
- Experience with managing and troubleshooting SQL Server Integration Services and Reporting Services.
- Supporting SQL Server instances hosted on VM Ware.
- Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory.
- Nice to have:
- Microsoft SQL Server Certification: MCSE Data Platform
- Experience with MySQL a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of cloud based environment, ideally AWS.
- Exposure to monitoring tools such as SentryOne, Zabbix and Splunk.
