For our Client, Scandinavian energy company, we are currently looking for Candidates to work as a Finance Controller. You'll be responsible for financial controlling of the company's legal entities, including month close, controlling, statutory accounts and performing internal controls.
Your key tasks will be to drive the continuous optimisation of processes -- specifically in connection with month-end closing and our reporting systems, and with special focus on ensuring that local processes are matured and moved to standardized company processes. Moreover, your scope of duties will cover preparing periodic local GAAP reporting, interface with external auditors of local GAAP financial statements, being responsible for financial controlling and reporting of a number of legal entities for group reporting purposes (IFRS), including reconciliation of intercompany accounts . You should also expect some travelling in relation to your work, mainly to our client offices in Denmark.
We are looking for Candidates who have university degree a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Controlling with approx. 2-5 years of relevant experience working in a public accounting firm or a controlling department in an international company. The potential candidate should be distinguished by a very good knowledge of SAP. Fluency in English - written and spoken is a must. Your competences include that you have thorough knowledge of IFRS, both from a theoretical point of view, and even more from a practical operational point of view.
