Systems Engineer - Electronically Powered Steering Systems (EPS)

 Responsibilities:

• Specify system requirements derived from customer requirements, including feasibility study for implementation and testability,
  
• Electromechanical design and system architecture of steering systems using standardized electronic subsystems,
  
• Application of verification methods like FMEA, FTA and tracking of the implementation of derived requirements as prevention methods,
  
• Analysis of conformances and non-conformances of the steering system, including root cause analysis and verification of the containment action,
  
• Develop concepts of new steering functionalities and coordination of their adaptation to the selected architecture,
  
• Interaction and communication with other Team-Functions (e.g. Mechanical Design, Safety, Software/Hardware-Design, System Validation, Product Support). 

Your Profile:

• University degree or polytechnic degree in electronics, mechatronics or similar,
• Knowledge of embedded systems in the automotive area,
  
• Analytical, systematic thinking and target focused acting,
  
• Good understanding of requirements and architecture tool chain (e.g. DOORS, Rhapsody); ideally knowledge on modelling approaches like SysML or UML,
  
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills (English),
  
• Self-dependent working with a rigorous & positive approach / intelligent & energetic / good team-player.
