Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Manager

In order to continue to ensure WABCO steady path of outperformance, we are currently looking to hire a "Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Manager" for our growth oriented business operations in Poland - an adviser and partner to the business working hand in hand with the local HR as well as leadership teams - ensuring that competitive and market-led compensation programs are in place to attract and retain quality talent.

You will be responsible for:

• Implement the organization’s compensation and benefit programs so that they meet the organization’s objectives with regards to internal equity and external market competitiveness (job evaluation; salary administration; short and long-term incentive plans; employee benefits; expatriate compensation)
• Liaise with leaders to develop and implement local compensation strategies that are appropriate for their business needs, but consistent with the organization’s overall reward strategy
• Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of professionals to ensure that the organization’s reward strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets and that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards
• Analyze and evaluate external market data as well as internal data about the organization’s current employee population and future human resource needs in order to develop salary budgets and forecasts that are consistent with the organization’s reward strategy
• Select, and manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and suppliers (insurance carriers, actuaries, benefit providers) to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
• Ensure that organization and employee-related records are accurate, accessible and secure and in compliance with relevant privacy regulations
• Coordinate the activities of the team to ensure that the organization’s payroll is processed accurately and on time
• Respond to more complex, escalated enquiries from team members
• Work and oversee the payroll team to ensure that the payroll is processed accurately
• Implementation of global HR processes, tools and policies and support in their application

 The ideal candidate should characterize:

• University degree – economics, finance and accounting preferable
• 5 years+ working experience in payroll operations and 3 years+ working experience in C&B
• Knowledge of an international Engineering/Manufacturing/Technology environment
• Experience in driving teams to work in a service oriented customer focused environment - Exceptional people management capability
• Excellent analytical skills - ability to process large amount of data from miscellaneous sources to support well informed decision
• Able to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency
• Able to generate process improvement ideas; proven record of process improvements
• Outstanding work organization, prioritization and ability to work under high time pressure
• Familiarity with globally implemented systems and applications supporting payroll processes
• Strong influencing skills with experience in driving change
• Fluent command of Excel
• Fluent English
