Network Transformation Tool Developer

Role Description

Nokia provides the network transformations services to different telecommunication operators. The main goal of the network transformation tools is the automation of the data extraction, translation and loading process when moving and changing data between and within systems.

The key purpose of the Tool Developer role is to carry out the coding, development and maintenance of the data translation platform, work on the data mapping between systems and provide support for the migration projects execution.

Key Accountabilities

The primary accountabilities include:

• Working with Development Team in scope of coding and development modules for network transformation tools;
• Cooperate with Design Engineers on data mapping rules;
• Support and maintenance of existing transformation platform solutions;
• Providing support for Execution Team;
• Providing technical solution for tool incidents raised by users.

Key Skills

• Knowledge of Python, Pearl programming and SQL (PostgreSQL especially);
• Knowledge of XML, XSD, HTML, CSS, AJAX would be beneficial;
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux programming would be beneficial;
• Understanding of technical documents written in English (networking and programming related).

• Experience in coding and development of technologies required as Key Skills.
