For one of our clients, one of the world leaders in FMCG industry with an SSC based in Warsaw, we are currently seeking candidates for the position of INTERNAL CONTROLS COORDINATOR / LEAD (SOX).
INTERNAL CONTROLS COORDINATOR / LEADwill be responsible for managing the ongoing SOX certification process for the SSC, including providing SOX trainings for the employees, liaising with internal and external auditors, implementing audit recommendations, carrying out additional testing, remediating any issues, enforcing approval policies and limits, performing SOX reviews, as well as managing a team of specialists responsible for the application and maintenance of appropriate internal controls and SAP Security within the SSC, all in close cooperation with various stakeholders within and outside of the company.
We are looking for candidates with an Academic Degree in Economics or related area, who have several years of experience in SOX / audits / project management,gained in one of the “ Big 4� firms. Very good knowledge of SOX act, internal controls and finance processes, experience in managing a team and ability to build relations with stakeholders from various levels of seniority is essential, as well as fluency in English.ACCA/CIMA/CIA certificate will be considered an asset.
