Tech Lead Python Developer

The candidate will be responsible for supervising the team of developers and working on the technical part of the Big Data solutions at the same time. The Tech Lead will have the ownership of the delivered solutions and responsibility for the teams development.

The end client is big FMCG company present in countries all over the world. The development team is responsible for delivering technical solutions supporting the core of the business.

Description

• Developing cloud-based enterprise solutions in Python and related tools
• Working across different projects
• Creating and developing Big Data solutions
• Sharing knowledge with own team members and other teams
• Offering support and mentoring Python developers
• Running code reviews
• Giving own input to Design & Analysis
• Securing automation processes (Pipelining, IaC)
• Bringing in own senior experience in relevant areas

Profile

• Commercial experience in Python at least 4 years
• Experienced in working in Scrum
• Ability to deliver solid, clean and maintainable code
• Used to working with Git
• Ability to to setup and develop further CI/CD
• Linux systems experience
• Good knowledge of Big data related topics - Hadoop stack, Azure
• PySpark knowledge will be a plus
• Experience in cloud-based solutions and practical Azure DevOps knowledge will be an advantage
