Windows Engineer - Kraków (hybrid work)

Duties:

  • Managing L2/L3 production/project support activities.
  • Responsible for script development/ update in different scripting (Python, PowerShell, VBS).
  • Monitoring the system performance.
  • Work on flexible working hours including weekends.
  • Responsible for Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge, Availability and Capacity Management for Windows/VMware environment.
  • Routine Operational support and troubleshooting.
  • Providing technical support for staff and system users.
  • Coaching and mentoring other team members.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 4 years hands-on experience in Windows OS / VMware administration.
  • Deep knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, WINS, DNS, File and Print, DHCP, CIFS, DFS.
  • Extensive expierence in VMware and Nutanix hyper-converged.
  • Experience in Datacentre operations - SCCM, Windows Clustering, RAID, Citrix, WSUS, File/ Print Server, Rack and Blade Servers, ADDS.
  • Experience in Hyper-V is an advantage.
  • VMware or Microsoft OS administrator certification is an advantage.
  • Should have worked on HPE enclosures like HPE C7000, Synergy and Moonshot.
  • Experience in hardware troubleshooting.
  • German B2 level is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 OS.
  • Understanding of NAS and SAN storage.
  • Solid knowledge and troubleshooting skills on Windows Load Balancing, MS Clusters and FTP.
  • Understanding of capacity planning and fine tuning systems for perfect performance.
