Your new role
Projects: you will work with development of new platform features like GUI, graphics rendering and processing volume data in the system.
Team: 3 engineers
Technologies: C++ (up from 11), rendering libraries (Open Scene Graph, Open Inventor), GIT
Scope of Duties:
- Conduct R&D of advanced 3D computer graphics
- Design and develop software for medical applications and medical devices
- Follow the internal Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process for software development
- Design and develop under International Standards of Quality for medical equipment and medical software
- Design and develop algorithms for processing and visualization of data obtained from digital imaging
- Document progress in the repository and monthly reports
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related field from a technical university)
- Advanced object-oriented programming in C++11 or higher
- Version Control software (Git)
- Advanced communication skills in spoken and written English (B2 equivalent)
- Experience in 3D computer graphics and/or virtual/mixed/augmented reality strongly preferred
Nice-to-haves:
- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or Engineering (any related field)
- 3D scientific visualization
- Scene-graph based graphics rendering libraries (Open Scene Graph or Open Inventor)
- Medical Imaging Processing
