Finance Manager

Requirements:

• Experience of at least 3 years working in a finance role within a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Experience in large Polish companies which are specialising in auditing (Big 4 audit experience an advantage)
• Experience of gross margin review and overhead variance analysis
• ERP implementation or process change experience an advantage
• Understanding of local Polish VAT and tax returns
• Fluent Polish and English language
• Prepared to travel to Ireland 2 - 3 times per year

Tasks:

• Corporate reporting pack ownership of financial slides on Polish distribution site with relevant insights on key cost and revenue variances
• Corporate reporting pack ownership of the non-financial metrics, with detailed analysis and insights on significant deviations for the Polish distribution site within the corporate reporting pack
• Management reporting and analysis
• Partner with site leaders to complete the budget and forecasting cycles for the Polish distribution hub
• Present monthly results to Finance and Site Leadership Team for review and analysis
• Prepare and file reporting operations pack, including financial metrics update, with detailed analysis and insights to material deviations for the site
• Responsive to financial inquiries by gathering, analysing, summarising and providing relevant commentary on the financial information available
• Review Polish payroll for 200 employees
• Review VAT & VIES returns
• Treasury and working capital model preparation
• Management of the local Polish Accounts Receivable
• Key finance user for future ERP system changes and improvements requiring participation in cross departmental project teams and clear communication of the finance department requirements
• Develop and upgrade reporting structures and tools embracing digital technology and automation
• Documentation and improvement of finance department SOP"s including identification of strategic risks
• Key finance member for liaison with auditors and preparation of supporting financial schedules for balance sheet captions
