We are looking for a Solutions Architect for Frontex, European Border and Coast Guard Agency of the European Commission, to provide solution architecture services for European Centre for Returns, a business unit within Frontex responsible for the return of irregular migrants.

Project scope:
- Set standards in the scope of design, development, quality, and testing
- Design and communicates system architecture
- Design interoperability and interfaces with other systems
- Elicit needs, analyses requirements
- Transfer business, users, and technical needs into architectures
- Map business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features
- Analyze available systems
- Identify options for potential solutions
- Maintain and track architecture in systems lifecycle
- Estimate and size software development works
- Contribute to systems design, testing, quality assurance, change management
- Prepare system documentation and provides presentations
- Lead development teams and development processes
- Select and evaluates technologies
- Collect and interprets system metrics
- Optimize system from performance, security, and quality points of view
Competence demands:
- Hold a master-level certificate in a software development technology domain or in architecting software solutions
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in architecting software systems
- At least 2 years of experience in architecting complex systems based on Microsoft SharePoint
- At least 5 years of experience in systems development
- Perform role of the key architect in the development of at least 2 software systems
- Expert knowledge of SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online
- Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
- Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
- Fluent English
