With my Client we are building a completely new team responsible for risk management calculation engines and tools across business of core financial products.
Tasks:
- Responsible for the design and development of key pieces in the new core risk calculation engine
- Design, develop and support highly reliable components
- Utilizing both existing and modern technologies to deliver risk tools to trading desks globally
Requirements:
- Excellent applied programming skills in Java and/or Python, knowledge of functional programming languages would be an advantage
- Experience with big data tools and solutions (Kafka, Spark, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Hadoop)
- Knowledge of financial markets, particularly from a quantitative viewpoint would be an advantage
