Senior Business Analyst (Life Insurance)

We are leading a project for a global provider of software solutions for the insurance industry, with a growing presence in the financial services sector. The company offers integrated basic software solutions for large international companies selling property and damage insurance.

• Location: Warsaw (Błonia Wilanowskie) or Katowice (Dąb) or Gdynia (Działki Leśne) or Szczecin (ul. Zbożowa)
• Remote work: Currently home office full time
• Business trips: 15 % (various destinations in Europe)
• Project language: English
• Contract form: Employment contract for an indefinite period (without a trial period) or B2B (with 20 days of paid leave)
• Project length: permanent
• Working hours: you can start between 7 and 11

Project scope:

• Ensure all Requirements, Design, Interface and Output Documents are delivered on time
• Review and Signoff all Requirement and Design Documents
• Act as a Consultant in requirement and design workshops internally and externally
• Manage and Engage with Lead BA/PD/PM on all project Actions, Assumptions, Risks, Issues, Decisions, Constraints.
• Support Design Authority on End to End solution ensuring all design documents are in line with the overall solution
• Review the Technical Design Specifications
• Support Development throughout the build phase
• Review the Test Scripts and support testing throughout test phase
• Help defining acceptance criteria and high level estimates
• Provide clients with functional analysis and design advice guidance and consultancy in Sapiens solution throughout the project
• Configure/Support the configuration of the parameters that determine the functionality specified in the design documentation
• Support the planning of the Requirement Specifications and Design phase, including sizing, resource allocation, and phasing to allow the delivery of complete quality solution to cost and schedule

Competence demands:

• Minimum of 7 years' experience as a business analyst
• Minimum of 3 years working as a consultant in a consulting firm
• Pension/Life Insurance project experience including occupational pensions, personal Pension/Life Insurance, regulation, data migration of Pension/Life Insurance business, accumulation and draw down is essential
• Knowledge of life and pensions administration
• Experienced in full project lifecycle having been involved in numerous system implementation or enhancement projects
• Must be willing to travel to client sites (occasional international travel may be required for training and there is potential for travel to European clients in the future)

You have one or more of the following qualifications:

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (International Institute of Business Analysis)
• CII
• ISEB ACII / FPC / AFPC or equivalents
• Fluent English - both writing and verbal, other European languages - An advantage
