Databases Administrator (MS SQL, AWS)

Currently, the Polish branch creates products for more than 100 global brands with 42,000 active locations.They provide mobile solutions to prevent losses, consistent with data, integrated with each browser, intuitive, easy to use. over 20 years of experience, cooperating with: KFC, DQ, IHOP, Pizza Hut, Denny "s, Yum !. Currently, they are looking for a team to their team for the position: Databases Administrator (MS SQL, AWS)

Responsibilities:

Administering the MS SQL Server and databases
Managing updates and releases
Ensuring data security, integrity and consistency
Planning and management of data backups
Tuning performance of servers and databases
Monitoring and managing ETL processes
Solving problems and incidents
Designing and implementing complex solutions based on a MS SQL Server
Cooperation with the QA team and programmers to optimize the use of the database
Help with implementation of Big Data / Timeseries solutions
Developing procedures for change management
Maintaining documentation

Requirements:

5 years of experience with MS SQL Server databases on the Windows platform
Experience in administering database servers located in AWS (or other cloud solution)
Very good knowledge of SQL (T-SQL)
Experience in High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions (DB Mirroring / Always-On / Clusters / Replication)
Ability to optimize the efficiency of SQL queries, procedures and functions
Advanced ability to use tools for administration and monitoring of the MS SQL database server
Very good knowledge of English (Polish is not mandatory)
Analytical skills
Ability to work in a team
Questioning the status quo"
Higher education
Additional advantages:
- Experience in maintaining / developing systems based on distributed architecture (over 5,000 edge clients)
- Experience in administering and implementing Big Data / Timeseries databases
- Active MS SQL Server certificates

We offer:

Monthly salary 6,000 - 8,000 net ('on hand") depending on your skills
Possible forms of cooperation:
- Contract of employment
- B2B contract (paid leave 26 days + 80% payable L4)
Possibility of partial remote work (dimension to be determined)

Flexible working hours (8/10 - 16/18)
