QA Engineer

Currently we are searching for QA Engineer for our business partner - a worldwide leader providing software for the service and online booking in travel industry. The QA engineer is the functional expert of a set of products. His role is to validate that all aspects of the product and related components are delivered according to agreed quality level to production. Based on the discovery session and specification, the Test plan is created and executed. The QA will belong to a QA community and will share/exchange tools, methods and good practices as well as the results of the tests and the issues he is facing

- Team: 8 Quality Assurances + specialists from travel industry + remote cooperation with other teams (multination environment)

- Assignment starts: depending on candidates availability
- Participate to the delivery session of the new version of company"s products , as well as new development from Development teams with strong focus on testability in the eco system environment of a set of customers
- Interface with Application Development and Product Management teams to maintain and extend functional knowledge in order to permit test scripts design and maintenance of applications
- Organise meeting with development and product definition in order to determine the configuration, set-up, methods and tools needed to perform the test of the functionality
- Interface with relevant departments to identify interaction with other packages and ensure functional compatibility, risks and dependencies
- Build test plans and review it with Development team and PDEF teams
- Reviewing requirements for testability, traceability (matrix coverage)
- Scripts creation and execution based on customer requirements and specification
- Creation and execution of Test plans based on customer configurations and specificities
- Ensure compliance of the delivered functionality and system integrity, and perform functional sign off
- Ensure production integrity by validating and prioritizing reported problems prior to production load.
- Ensure execution and analysis of tests and give final approval for load to Production
- Maintain, improve and plan the evolution of test scripts and scenarios
- Define the test coverage for automation
- Validation of new features in scrum methodology or V cycle
- University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Curiosity, willing to go deeper in the tests and learn the eco system of a set of main customers to ensure no issues will be detected by the customers
- Willing to learn complex products and interactions with eco system of the main customers
- ISTQB certification is a plus
- Knowledge of Test tool
- ALM (HP)
- Selenium scripts , python is a plus
- Ability to manage Test processes
- Good understanding of testing methodologies and industry standards
- Fluent English
