For our Client we are currently looking for qualified Candidates for the position of:
Network Engineer
Location: Warsaw (Żwirki i Wigury)
Job type: contract B2B
Length: long term cooperation
Rate: 110 zł / h
Branch: banking
Remote work: 1 day / week
English: B2
Responsibilities:
- Support Cisco and Juniper based networking hardware and software
- Support data and voice communication systems
- Provide RCA and troubleshooting of network related incidents for both infrastructure and applications
- Communicate and align with internal team about incidents and system health
- Support WIFI infrastructure
- Organize firewall setup and changes for the application colleagues
- Support Customer foreign branches on Network activities
- Maintain up to date Datacenter Assets List
- Support on-site activities such as DR tests, power outages impacting MIB servers etc.
- Implement all required changes
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of network equipment – switches, routers, firewalls
- Experience with various hardware vendors (Cisco, Juniper)
- Must be in possession of current CCNA
- CCNP or CCIE will be an advantage
- Very strong networking knowledge – TCP/IP, OSI model, VLANs, routing protocols, WAN, monitoring tools,
- Willingness to work with multiple technologies (network, SAN, NAS, backup)
- Knowledge of Process Management Best Practices (example ITIL) and related tooling (HP SM, HP OVO, REMEDY)
- Technical education
- Desirable – knowledge of NAS solutions, SAN arrays, backup infrastructure, MAN networking concepts
