QA Engineer

We have created a team that conducts complex projects for one of the top software companies providing solutions for the worldwide travel industry. The team started its operations in Villeneuve Loubet, Cote d'azur in France and after the complete induction in 09.2019 will be moved to Warsaw for further management. We are searching for QA Engineer. His role is to validate that all aspects of the product and related components are delivered according to agreed quality level to production.

Location: Warsaw (West Station, al. Jerozolimskie)
Business trips: 10%
Remote work: 20%
Remuneration: 600-800 PLN/day net on b2b
Project language: English
Contract length: indefinite

Project scope:

Interface with Application Development and Product Management teams to maintain and extend functional knowledge in order to permit test scripts design and maintenance of applications
Organize meeting with development and product definition in order to determine the configuration, set-up, methods and tools needed to perform the test of the functionality
Interface with relevant departments to identify interaction with other packages and ensure functional compatibility, risks and dependencies
Build test plans and review it with Development team
Reviewing requirements for testability, traceability (matrix coverage)
Scripts creation and execution based on customer requirements and specification
Creation and execution of Test plans based on customer configurations and specificities
Ensure compliance of the delivered functionality and system integrity, and perform functional sign off
Ensure production integrity by validating and prioritizing reported problems prior to production load
Ensure execution and analysis of tests and give final approval for load to Production
Maintain, improve and plan the evolution of test scripts and scenarios
Define the test coverage for automation

Requirements:

University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Ability to run periodic manual non regression test
Ability to build a test matrix to validate and cover project delivery
Run a full QA phase to validate the delivery
Ability to create automated end to end test to validate deliveries
ISTQB certification is a plus
Protractor, Javascript scripts, Typescript is a plus
Good understanding of testing methodologies and industry standards
Fluent English
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of reservations applications
