Casting Engineer
As a result of a dynamic development of our organization we are currently looking for a candidate for the position of Casting Engineer. The person hired on this position will be responsible for supporting production in developing and maintaining proper technological processes as well as ensuring continuity of production processes in LV motor production facility .The main area of responsibility will be engineering of aluminium die casting processes in motor production.
Tasks:
- Project management in order to improve and optimize production processes;
- Manage upgrades and support proper functioning of the machinery;
- Provide technical support in programming of machines and optimization of working machines;
- Standardization and validation of manufacturing processes;
- Coordination of new technologies and supply of equipment;
- Cooperation with customers and suppliers;
- Close cooperation with the maintenance department;
- Create and maintain work instructions for responsible areas.
Requirements:
- Higher education in the area of Engineering, preferably in one of the following faculties: Production Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, Electrical, Mechanical;
- At least 2 years of professional experience in working in a large production environment, production engineering department or in a position related to production improvement;
- Experience in aluminium die casting processes will be an additional asset;
- Excellent ability to read and create technical drawings;
- Excellent knowledge of principles of 5S, Kaizen Lean Philosophy;
- Very good command of English;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office environment;
- High determination and willingness to reach set goals;
- Ability to work in a team and excellent organization of own work;
- Self motivation for improvement.
