IT System Administrator - M and E Engineering Basis

IT System Administrator is responsible for implementation, administration and the operational support of M&E Engineering Applications. The IT expert will perform daily operational tasks according to ITIL standard processes.

 

Your task:
 

  • Operational support of M&E Engineering Application platforms (Incident & Problem Management);
  • Installation, configuration, maintenance and support for Engineering applications such as PLM, PDM, CAD and CAE systems;
  • Database system design, installation, configuration, maintenance and support;
  • Developing M&E Engineering Landscape to fulfill future needs;
  • Creating and updating handling instructions, documentations and knowledge base articles;
  • Consulting and cooperating with other global IT teams;
  • Following the global corporate IT standards.

 

 

Your profile:
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronics or similar;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience (including co-op/internship experience) in the IT field encompassing a majority of the following areas – PLM, PDM, CAD, CAE, High Performance Computing (CPU, GPU, Infiniband), Database Administration;
  • Experience providing customer support and resolution of technical issues;
  • Proven ability to diagnose performance issues and tune system performance;
  • General knowledge of ITIL processes, best practices, and commonly-used procedure;
  • Proven analytical abilities in addition to strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills;
  • Good English language skills;
  • ITIL®, MCSE, CCP – V or related Information Systems certifications would be an advantage.
