Application Specialist

Tasks:

• Verify costs of applications and cooperate with the IS Controller;
  
• Maintain data quality of the applications registered in the Group Applications Register;
  
• Maintain proper relationship with vendors; drive vendor performance and contract management according to ABB processes;
  
• Review the status and quality of service for internal and external delivery parties, organize and attend service performance meeting;
  
• Define and deliver the actions needed to improve the quality of the service and keep it aligned with the business needs;
  
• Ensure escalations related to delivery in application(s) are solved, ensure corrective actions in the application(s);
  
• Support installation, management, maintenance and optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to IS Service Build or IS Service Delivery;
  
• Support to ensure work in the application is aligned and compliant with ABB IS Enterprise Architecture and any other applicable ABB Group Directives and ABB Group Guidelines;
  
• Support the creation of cost estimates and project plans for the applications.
  

Requirements:

• Higher University Deegree in IT field; 
  
• At least 2 years of experience in IS Department;
  
• Strong IS operations skills and good understanding of the overall context of business processes and IS technologies;
  
• Experience in leading IS team;
  
• Ability to gather and evaluate business requirements; 
  
• Experience in project planning and execution as well as on economic aspects of system management and life cycle;
  
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes;
  
• Ability to use English fluently in speaking and writing;
  
• Ability to work in a team and excellent organization of own work;
  
• High determination and willingness to reach set goals.
