Commodity Buyer - Powder Metal

Responsibilities:

Responsible for strategic sourcing of assigned commodity parts
Operative and strategic Purchasing responsibility for the Commodity "Powder Metal Parts" for business unit PT, TT and TU.
Observation/monitoring of procurement markets
Introduction of procurement procedures
Supplier selection, -evaluation, -development
Development and evaluation of analyses (market, studies)
Leading price and contract supplier negotiation under consideration of strategic targets
Support and Implementation of the awarding process
Collaboration with cross-functional expert groups
Development, Supporting, Implementation of technical and commercial cost optimization projects
Coordination within Division and Commodity Team

Requirements:

University degree in Technical or Commercial field
At least 4 years’ experience in automotive industry at the area of purchasing or project management
Experience within direct purchasing, including experience negotiating with suppliers and managing the supply base post-negotiations preferred;
Fluent English (German would be a plus)
Excellent MS Office user skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Active, exact responsible work attitude
Willingness for travelling
