The IT expert is responsible for the advanced design, implementation and the operational support of E-Messaging services for the ZF group to support and fulfill the requirements of internal and external customers worldwide. 

Responsibilities: 
 

• Evaluate, propose, architect, and implement new solutions, in addition to provide day-to-day technical guidance regarding messaging solutions within ZF group globally
• Take responsibility for lifecycle and capacity management processes regarding existing and new messaging solutions
• Analyze and optimize the global messaging infrastructure for optimal rollout/implementation; perform market analysis and advanced evaluation of new messaging specific technologies (e.g. Microsoft® Exchange Online)
• Operational support of hardware and software installation/deployment regarding messaging services in a hybrid environment (based on ITIL processes)
• Lead, work and support of frequently changing and challenging IT projects to support our customer needs
• Associate’s Degree, technical certification(s), or equivalent IT experience
• Preferably 3+ years of experience in an enterprise IT field encompassing most of the following areas – (secure) messaging and IT project work
• Experience with implementing and administrating Exchange solutions and messaging relevant security components (Mail encryption, Spam filter, Thread protection)
• Working knowledge of Identity Management, mail routing and enterprise-level IT environments
• ITIL®, Microsoft or related IT System certifications would be a big plus
• Good command of English and potentially German
• Willingness/ability to travel up to 20% (both domestic and international)
• Willingness/ability to meet flexible schedule arrangements per customer requirements (i.e. off-shifts, on-call)
