PHP SYMFONY Developer

Currently we are looking for candidates for the position:
Your Tasks:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance our backend API and libraries
• Work on a growing set of backend services for external and internal consumption, from product definition to production and maintenance
• Participate in software design and code assessment
• Diagnose and debug issues in a production environment
• Keep up-¬to-¬date on the latest backend developments and respond to customer feedback
• Craft and maintain world-¬class PHP backend experiences
Your Profile:
• 3+ years experience with PHP development and MySQL
• Clean Code principles
• Profound knowledge of PHP5, (My)SQL and object-¬orientated design patterns
• Deep understanding of UNIX environment, RESTful and SOAP applications and HTTP standards
• Experience with Symfony 2x, 3x or other frameworks
• Habit of writing clear, understandable and well-¬documented code
• Experience with OOP, Test-Driven Development, Rapid Prototyping
• A self-¬starter, motivated by your own desire to do exceptional work, never satisfied with "good enough"
• Methodical debugging skills using classic techniques as well as 3rd party tools
• Entrepreneurial spirit, imaginative yet methodical
• Brilliant collaborative and interpersonal skills (advanced English is required)
• Already local or keen to move to Berlin
• Atlassian Jira, Crucible is a plus
• Security Know-How preventing SQL-injections and XSS
• Experience in optimizing and fine-¬tuning high traffic & dynamic apps for maximum performance, speed, scalability and stability through test-¬driven development
