YOUR RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Reporting performance of the buying area versus commodity markets;
• Completion of weekly risk reports, modelling of commodity exposures to support monthly reporting disciplines;
• Supporting development of the buying strategy in identified commodity categories;
• Cost modelling for various retail products;
• Conducting product costing to inform retail pricing decisions;
• Reporting project status;
• Data management - data gathering, validation and integration;
• Supporting compliance to Tesco commodity framework;
• Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Financial knowledge and awareness;
• Numeric ability • Forecasting • Presentation skills;
• Strong excel and modelling skills;
• Relevant Degree –economics, statistics, finance etc would be advantage;
• Retail knowledge;
• Experience using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications;
• Good English knowledge;
• Buying experience.
