Kogo szukamy / Profile description:

• Effective leadership and motivational traits in supporting the costing and / or controlling unit ;
• University degree, or post graduate in Accounting / Economics ;
• 10 years of experience in accounting and financial controlling / costing in a manufacturing plant in a global organisation ;
• Proficiency in the use of oral and written English and Polish language ;
• Ability to travel to support other European countries (25% of time) ;
• Advanced IT skills: Excel, fluent in data analysis, ERP knowledge ;
• Ability to apply dynamism and logical judgement to diverse challenging situations ;

Opis stanowiska / Job description:

• Manage the cost accounting staff in Poland and in Europe ;
• Oversees the cost control systems, manages and interprets cost audits, and prepares cost accounting reports for presentation to management ;
• Ensures that costs for the company's products and services are allocated according to corporate procedures and in compliance with financial accounting standards ;
• Prepare estimates of costs for unique products to establish prices of products and to forecast production ;
• Apply the budget in costing system - set up rates and other cost elements ;
• Monthly analysis of manufacturing variances: materials price and quantity variances, conversion costs variances ;
• Organisation of monthly cost review meeting with plant management ;
• Constant improvement of costing system ;
