For our Client, new company on the market in SSC sector, we are looking for Candidate for Financial Analyst position.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Own the process order settlement process for manufacturing sites, working with Supply Chain to resolve discrepancies
- Review and investigate intercompany non-product billings requests
- Work with budget owners to ensure all monthly expenditures have been posted and accrued within existing SAP system
- Book journal entries for accrual, reversal, reclassifications, and allocations (as necessary)
- Participate in Trial Balance reviews, researching variances and presenting findings (as necessary)
- Monthly Forecasting:
- Own the monthly forecasting process, working with budget owners, Operations Managers, and Procurement to understand expense forecasts, production volumes, pricing changes, and key materials purchases for the month
- Work with Budget Owners, Operations Managers, and Procurement to understand upsides, downsides, and drivers of monthly forecasts to identify and drive positive change for external manufacturing spend
- Strategic Plan:
- Support Corporate FP&A organization by validating manufacturing site assumptions in the creation of 5 year strategic plan
- Support Corporate FP&A organization by providing key insights and input into strategic questions / projects for 5 year strategic plan
- Business Plan:
- Own the annual business plan process, working with budget owners, Operations Managers, Tech Services, and Procurement to understand expense forecasts, production volumes, toll fees, and purchase prices for the year
- Work with Manufacturing Leadership team to understand organizational goals and align priorities to annual business plan priorities
- Perform manufacturing site product costing and analysis to create product-level COPS
- Controls / Ad-Hoc:
- Ensure manufacturing site compliance to key financial processes related to Global SOX controls
- Perform and monitor key global controls, including monthly variance reporting, account / system reconciliations, and inventory counts through SAP and Business Objects reporting tools
Requirements:
- Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3-6 years of experience in a financial role with a strong track record of performance
- Strong analytical, financial process, and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of manufacturing concepts
- Fluent English
- Additional Skills / Preferences:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience with product costing methodologies
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (or similar analytical tools)
- 2-3 years experience working with SAP (or other ERP systems)
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams including Operations, R&D, Procurement, Finance, and Sales / Marketing
