For our Client we are looking for Virtualization Specialist
Location: 100% remote or hybrid in Warsaw
Form of employment: B2B or UoP
You design, build and manage the virtualization technology As our new specialist, you will be designing, building and managing the infrastructure in both traditional VM-oriented infrastructure as well as container-oriented microservice infrastructure and handle the system administration.
This means that you will:
- Contribute to solving urgent issues and incidents
- Build and define the virtualization infrastructure to ensure that it meets all customer requirements
- Develop and support the very large existing VMware infrastructure
- Participate in large international infrastructure projects across firm
Requirements
- Have experience from a similar role working in a large scale virtualization environment, preferably VMware, but opensource solution is also a possibility
- Have experience working within a cloud-enabled infrastructure - both private cloud and one or more of Azure, GCP and IBM cloud
- Possess strong scripting skills in either PowerShell, Java and/or Python
- Bring experience from working within a SAFe project set-up and have knowledge of DevOps
- Speak and write English fluently
Additionally, it is an advantage if you have experience with or knowledge of one or more of the following tools/technologies: Jira, Confluence, Elastic Search, Terraform, BitBucket, Openstack and Kubernetes.
