For our client - an internal software house creating solutions for the needs of a global company from the insurance industry, we are looking for a person for the position of Principal Software Engineer. Work on site in Warsaw or remotely (~ 2 days in the office per month). As a Principal Software Engineer you will join the team working for projects within commercial insurance line in UK branch. The main objective of a role will be to provide technical guidance to development teams in Poland and UK and oversee the technical aspects of all projects (Azure and on-premise based).
Key responsibilities will include the following:
- Lead the technical design, testing, implementation and delivery of web applications using agile
- best practices
- Actively contribute to the architecture community to define platform principles and standards
- Closely collaborate with UK based architects and other principal software engineers to achieve
- the best possible solutions
- Work closely with business to understand their needs and proactively propose best technical
- solutions
- Supervise and oversee the technical aspects of multiple projects
- Actively support and mentor development teams members working on various projects
- Day to day hands-on coding
- Promote high standard development practices
- Effectively communicate within globally distributed teams in order to apply the best practices

Main requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a .NET Developer
- Proven experience in building and designing complex web systems
- Experience in leading architectural initiatives
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Proactive attitude
- The ability to multi-task
- Experience working with Microsoft Technology Web stack: Azure, .NET, .NET Core
- Very good organizational skills
- Very good English
