Frontend UX/UI Developer

Our client is an automation and machine learning consultancy operating from London and New York. They work with scale-ups and large corporations to launch solutions by validating problems, speccing ideas and building great products. The company's HQ is currently Paddington, London, but they also have offices in Gdańsk, Poland. They are partnered with Google AI and recently graduated from Facebook's Deep Tech Accelerator.

Requirements:

• Expertise in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Good knowledge of English - at least B2
• Extensive experience in developing responsive, modern web applications using React or Angular
• Strong communication skills are a must to advise our clients on UX best practices, understand briefs and requirements, as well as helping to create these yourself
• Experience working with Figma (or similar prototyping tool) to produce high quality user flows and application prototypes
• An aptitude for using a logical, step-by-step approach to ensure designs are user friendly and understandable for end users
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment where you will be managing your own time and workload

Responsibilities:

• Translating customer requirements into wireframes and prototypes using tools including Balsamiq and Figma
• Defining interaction models, user task flows, and UI specifications for new and existing systems
• Develop UI designs into working systems using modern frontend technologies including React and Angular
• Act as the "bridge" between the engineering and design functions within a project team
• Interact with customers to understand requirements and communicate designs
• Keeping up to date on the latest technologies and techniques in the world of design and frontend development and bringing this to the team
