Finance Master Data Specialist

The role of the Finance Master Data Specialist is to manage the master data environment for Accounting and Finance. This involves managing master data change requests and to ensure service delivery meets functional and business requirements. This role will cooperate closely with Global Master Data Analyst - RTR, to ensure compliance with master data governance strategy and work towards improvements in Master Data Management process.

Our Client is an international company from pharmaceutical sector. For their newly created Center Of Excellence we are looking to hire experienced candidate for the role of Finance Master Data Specialist.

Description

• Support the Master Data Management process for Accounting and Finance and enforce global data standards as directed by functional representatives & Global Master Data Team
• Maintain and process master data requests and revisions (create / change / delete) in SAP,
• Blackline and other RTR tools
• Identify improvement opportunities for Master Data Management for the chart of accounts & modules in Blackline
• Work closely with Global Master Data Team, functional representatives and RTR Projects & Automation Consultant to ensure implementation of process improvement opportunities
• Support Master Data testing (execution of change requests, etc.) and enforce compliance
• Build and maintain a strong knowledge of supported affiliate's business
• Demonstrate a strong Continuous Improvement oriented approach and help to build a strong
• Continuous Improvement culture
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and controls and with external regulations (e.g. SOx)
• Prepare data quality & performance metrics for RTR

Profile

• University Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in Master Data Management within Finance or Accounting function
• Understanding of data management & data governance best practices and ability to apply these
• Experience with SAP
• Experience with Blackline prefered
• Proven analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• Ability to handle complexity and utilize analytical skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to effectively prioritize and complete key tasks and deliverables while demonstrating full ownership & accountability
• Ability to work across different management styles and communicate effectively with both internal & external business partners of all levels and functions
• Experience in multi-national organization and ability to work across cultures in a global team Environment
• Fluency in English
