For our client we are looking for QA Manager / QA Team Lead

Purpose of this Role
Manage the testing and improvement process for products which forms the basis for having a consistent and high-quality product. It requires strong technical skills coupled with resilience, enthusiasm, and drive. Strong collaboration with the team is required, as well as a can-do and attitude and attention to details.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead internal/external Quality Assurance teams, plan and prepare test deliverables, carry out testing activities and conduct a variety of roles within the testing.
  • Prepare test deliverables, carry out testing activities and conduct a variety of roles within the testing, including, but not limited to, writing test cases and test plans, performing thorough regression and load testing.
  • Design and creation of the automated test cases using test automation solutions & scripts such as Appium, Selenium, Calabash, Gherkin to test mobile/web applications.
  • Use of project and product management tools to plan and execute QA activities.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
  • Software/System integration and product delivery activities at client side.
  • Work with scrum methodology in agile software development.
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
  • Promote and improve new methodologies for QA and DevOps activities. Setting up Code Review, Build Automation, Continuous integration, and Continuous deployment practices, using GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and other state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Act as Scrum master/Agile coach within the company.
  • Learn, grow, and develop in a team of motivated and highly driven professionals.
  • Any other functions, in addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities, reasonably required by the line manager.


Experience

  • 8+ years work experience in software development and software quality assurance.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Good knowledge in server monitoring systems like Zabbix, Grafana, ELK stack.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
  • Demonstrable client facing experience.
  • Experience in leading, motivating and developing people.
